About Jake
Jake Doberenz embraces a multifaceted identity as a polymath, wearing many hats: writer, teacher, minister, speaker, traveler, and podcaster.
With a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and a Master’s in Theological Studies, he crafts Christian non-fiction and the newsletter Smashing Idols. Drawing on his experience as a middle school teacher, Jake, under the pen name J.A. Doberenz, also writes humorous adventure novels for kids and young adults.
