Jake Doberenz is a seasoned minister, author, podcast host and educator with a passion for storytelling that transforms lives. With a background in theology and a knack for weaving engaging narratives, Jake has dedicated his career to helping Christians better engage with culture through compelling stories and thought-provoking messages.

Jake is experienced with speaking and teaching to kids from middle school and up, offering a unique ability to connect with diverse audiences. His dynamic presentations and workshops are designed to inspire, educate, and challenge listeners to think deeply about their faith and its impact on the world around them.

Theology Meets World delves into the heart of real-life issues with theologians, ministers, activists, and writers who share their unique stories and insights. We aim to help Christians navigate the challenges of the modern world, empowering them to live out their faith with wisdom and courage.

I’ve published everything from fiction and non-fiction books to plays and academic articles. Just because I have a Master of Theological Studies doesn’t mean I can’t have fun! All my work is carefully crafted to tell an engaging story while also communicating transformative messages so people can break the idols in their lives.

To tell great stories, I have to experience great stories! I’ve traveled to 10 countries, doing everything from teaching English in Hungary to exploring the Mayan Underworld in Belize. But even at home, as a former public and private school teacher, I have plenty of wild stories about my students!
